No registration is necessary.

If you are not comfortable providing this detail to the site, there is yet another way to access your mail.

Configure your PC`s mail client with the softbank`s address and password. I tried with my Mail application of Mac OS X and it worked without a glitch. I am sure that it will work with other mail clients like Microsoft Outlook, Thunderbird etc. Softbank uses IMAP (not POP3) as the incoming mail server(imap.softbank.jp). Hence, you cannot add your softbank account to Gmail. Gmail only allows POP3 server accounts to be added.

Happy mailing!!!Sakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com2tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587441774219262310.post-51398076162938682802009-08-12T18:12:00.001-07:002009-08-12T18:12:39.925-07:00Damien Rice - Cannonball [2002][SkidVid].mpgSakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587441774219262310.post-37867348343122034442009-06-12T23:49:00.000-07:002009-06-13T00:04:16.189-07:00Indian style Red bean(Azuki) dishThe Azuki beans are a common ingredient in many japanese sweets. I just googled and found that it is also common in the chinese cuisine. In the northern part of India, the Red Kidney bean(called as Rajma) curry is a common dish. I tried making Azuki bean curry in the Rajma curry style and it turned out to be very delicious.

Ingredients:

1. Tomato
2. Onion
3. Azuki bean
4. Pinch of turmeric powder, corriander powder.
3. Curry Powder
4. Salt
5. Oil

Procedure:

1. Keep the red beans soaked in water for about 2 hours. It is the same as done with Rajma. This saves a lot of cooking time.
2. Boil the red beans with enough curry powder, salt, pinch of corriander powder and a pinch of turmeric powder.
3. Shallow fry onion and tomato with enough salt and curry powder.
4. Add the boiled beans to the shallow fried onion and tomato and stir it in low flame for two minutes.

And you obtain the delicious red bean curry as shown below.

<img style="display:block; margin:0px auto 10px; text-align:center;cursor:pointer; cursor:hand;width: 400px; height: 300px;" src="http://3.bp.blogspot.com/_Cbb1wnF_o9g/SjNO4ISF2nI/AAAAAAAAB_U/XUJ4xkwdeHs/s400/Photo+9.jpg" border="0" alt=""id="BLOGGER_PHOTO_ID_5346703908821916274" />Sakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587441774219262310.post-36920223002399268492009-06-10T07:04:00.000-07:002009-06-13T00:05:03.735-07:00Is this just a Video? or a web page? Let me justify. Just think of a place that you like the most. Done. You are there!!!!!

Now you will also be able to navigate to a place you are not familiar using your thoughts. Yes. Think about the direction you have to head, once you sit in this wheelchair and you navigate in that direction. Don't believe me???? Many users(like me) want to learn and work with linux. But, fear for the lack in support for hardware and other software. Now, even without installing the expensive Vmware, users can have the advantage of running Linux within their existing Windows system. A great option!!!!

Sakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587441774219262310.post-3794516456612858402009-03-24T13:58:00.001-07:002009-03-24T14:00:46.837-07:00Desalination Plant of tomorrow?Came across this exciting video. You read it right. It is Hyper Speech Transfer Protocol and not Hyper Text Transfer Protocol. It is IBM's new protocol developed to "talk" with the Web.

"People will talk to the web and the web will respond. The research technology is analogous to the internet. Unlike personal computers it will work on mobile phones where people can simply create their voice sites," IBM India Research Laboratory Associate Director Manish Gupta said to The Times Of India.

The increase in the number of mobile phone subscribers in spite of the serious recession may help the technology to become commercially successful. Does it have the ability to replace the Internet?Sakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587441774219262310.post-16722187634330771002008-05-20T20:07:00.000-07:002008-05-20T20:14:16.228-07:00Silverlight - KeyNotFound ExceptionFinally, I found out the reason for this exception in Silverlight. Though I had put try catch blocks in all the methods, sometimes this exception is thrown.
I had a doubt that it may be because of animation. And, it was.

I was using storyboard1 for opening canvas1 and storyboard2 for closing it.
And canvas1 opens when i do a mouse enter event to another canvas-canvas2. Similarly, canvas1 is closed in the mouseleave event of canvas2.
The exception was thrown only when I did a fast mouse enter and mouse leave(ie before storyboard1 ended and storyboard2 was called).
So, it is always better to stop all the storyboards modifying the control before beginning a storyboard for animating the control.Sakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587441774219262310.post-69279710343322945362008-05-18T20:00:00.000-07:002008-05-18T20:06:06.667-07:00Server did not recognize the value of HTTP Header SOAPActionThis is a SOAP protocol exception. I noticed another change. Access to other Dlls placed in the folder is denied by System.Reflection. In other words, the Assembly.Load(fullname) does not work unless a reference is added to the assembly.
Though one may say that it is a security feature, it was happening in 1.1. And I dont think loading a silverlight dll from the ClientBin directly will affect the security in anyways.Sakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com0tag:blogger.com,1999:blog-5587441774219262310.post-46684649596891934662008-04-11T02:08:00.000-07:002008-04-11T02:21:40.239-07:00Silverlight System.OutofMemoryExceptionToday, I encountered a weird exception that I have mentioned in the title when i was building my solution.
I had added many images as assets to a particular project that made it exceed the memory stack. I should say, I was very lazy to do it. But now, I found something very interesting which I want to share.Today, I was reading a newsletter from Code Project.com and it had an item by name The Shakespeare Programming Language(abbreviated as SPL). I expected this to be something that relates Shakespeare with some other programming language. But, i was surprised to see the whole code of the SPL written in the style of Shakespeare's plays. By learning the syntax, one may even improve his English(one of the word I learnt is Exeunt which means exit from the stage).

http://shakespearelang.sourceforge.net/

http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shakespeare_programming_languageSakthihttp://www.blogger.com/profile/07320413500304988405noreply@blogger.com0
